Message from the Bishop

Our world today is a world of information technology, and as such all institutions of human achievement, development and governance is making use of this.

As the Church was the first to speak on radio to the world in the early 1900s, so the Church today and in every age must make use of what that age provides, to speak the Gospel of God in Jesus Christ.

Today, I am proud to be a part of the history that Trinity Cathedral is launching a website. Liberian Episcopalians here and abroad can now access this website and obtain information about what we are doing and intend to do.

To God be the glory, great things he has done.

The Rt. Rev. Jonathan B.B.Hart
BISHOP

Beloved, I greet you in the name of our sovereign Lord Christ, who commanded that we go out and baptize . Why? ‘to make disciples’. Where? ‘to the ends of the earth’. In what assurance? ‘I will be with you always’. How? He does not say. This medium is one way of reaching out to the ends of the earth and testifying to the transforming power of our God, here in Monrovia at the Cathedral Church of the Holy Trinity.

I thank God daily for you, and for all who visit this website, that your Christian faith might be strengthened and our God glorified in your life.
At the Cathedral, we wish to become a people who apply their minds to making the House of God a place of blessing and glory; a people biblically grounded and theologically educated; resourceful with time, money, and talent; a people transformed and who transform others where they are with what they have.

I pray that as you visit here, you will so share in this vision that your support would be felt in Monrovia; and be an encouragement to all the saints who assemble on each Lord’s day to give thanks as Anglicans know how!
Stay blessed in your coming in and your going out, always.
...The Very Revd Dr. Herman B. Browne - DEAN
